Family

At the moment most of the family's physical needs are being met. Obviously they will need continued support during this time. Right now the thing they need the most is all of your prayers. We will continue to keep everyone updated through this blog. If anyone has any questions we will do our best to answer them through this as to avoid bogging anyone here down.

Please feel free to leave any thoughts for Brent here as well. When he wakes up we want him to know how much you all love and care for him.

Hi there- Can you post an address where his family can receive cards? Maybe the hospital's address? My husband, Nate, was Brent's roommate in college and we love him a lot. Thanks,
Kristen

Pete, Kathy, Brian & Amanda,

From the moment we first heard of Brent's accident Jeannie and I prayed for God to send a miracle. In the first 24 hours we know he felt an enormous amount of pressure to perform, so he did! Brent's life was spared and now God will use him in a very special way. God has already touched many hearts and many ways through Brent that we will never comprehend. With complete trust in God, we are confident that Brent will continue to improve, and will soon return to being the vibrant soul that God delivered to our world. As special as Brent is to many, he has always been one of Jeannie's special students. As soon as he is able to hear her voice she would love to speak into his ear and send her love as only she can do. We love you guys and we will be here for you as long as you need us.

Dave & Jeannie

Thanks you for this blogsite. We all love you and are praying for your strength and for Brent's recovery. Your faith is evident, but just know we are all here to hold up your arms as the battle continues during the coming months. Look for the blessings because there will be more of those than there are tribulations.

You are constantly on our hearts and in our prayers. We love Brent and your family so much. You have been such an important part of our lives. We can't imagine what you are going through , we can only tell you how encouraged we are by your faith and strength and the progress Brent is making each day. We are so grateful for the updates, it makes us feel like we are almost there with you. Am sure it is so painful to write and read over it all each day, but is so good to get accurate reports. We will continue to pray for Brent's continued improvement, and recovery, the doctors knowledge and skill, and the comfort that only our awesome God can provide.

Love,

Terry and Gary Lashley

Petey,

The first thing that flashed through my feeble brain when I heard about Brent's accident was that you would be - as always - a Rock of faith and a shining example to us all of how Christianity is supposed to work. Anyone can be faithful when things are going well; but you, my friend, have a solid grasp of the whole point of faith - unshakable confidence in God's love and power even when disaster strikes. You're a mountain of a man, and a giant of faith. Gosh! What a prophet you woulda made!

The second thought I had was that I don't know any other person with an attitude of life so well-suited to overcoming hardship than Brent Adams. I have tried to conjur up an image of Brent in a down-hearted, discouraged frame of mind...and I just cannot do it! I think of Brent and immediately I hear his laughter and see his smile and feel his confidence. Regardless of the outcome of his injuries, I am certain that his joy of life will not be tainted in the least.

Then I finally got connected to this blog and....Just who is this Amanda that has been writing these awesome, confident reports of blessings?! What happened to quiet little Amanda Adams?? I am truly amazed at the wisdom and maturity I read here! Amanda, you should give serious thought to writing a book.

You guys are an awesome family and we love - and miss - you!

We are all thinking about Brent, just read he is up and awake, and that is awesome. When Dad told me about Brent's accident, it reminded me of somebody who was in a similar accident. http://www.zach-campbell.com
Well we are praying for Brent and the rest of you guys. Let us know if there is anything you need.

Welcome back Brent, We've missed you. Your Christ-like spirit have encouraged us all even while you slept. Our prayers are continually with you for healing and strength.

Pete, Kathy, Brian and Amanda, you all have given us all such a spiritual boast by your faith in our creator and your ablility to know that God is good and his power is mighty. This has help me realize how little I talk to people about God and how important is to be in his family. Now I'm telling everybody I know. God is glorified through your hardship. We love you.

Hey this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if
blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.

I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
